Building Momentum for the Senior Wellness Center

Mayor Anthony A. Williams and E. Veronica Pace, executive director of the D.C Office of Aging, held a ceremonial signing of a beam and column at the construction site of the Congress Heights Senior Wellness Center. The center, located at 3500 Marthur Luther King, Jr., Ave., S.E., is scheduled to open this fall. More then 40 persons were on hand on Valentine's Day to witness the signing.
